Getting started

Is the Partnership Dominoes Game free to play?

Yes. The game is completely free — no download, no install, no account and no sign-up. It runs right in your web browser, and it's also free to embed on your own website.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The game uses WebGL and runs entirely in the browser. Open the page, choose a difficulty, and play.

Do I need an account or login?

No. There is no account system at all. You can type an optional display name so your seat is labeled, but nothing is saved or required.

What browsers and devices are supported?

Any modern desktop browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with WebGL enabled. On phones and tablets the game switches to a clean 2D layout with tap-to-play controls. For the best mobile experience, hold your phone in landscape.

The game and the rules

What kind of dominoes is this?

It's the classic four-player, double-six partnership game — 28 tiles, four players in two teams of two, seven tiles each. You and one AI partner play against two AI opponents. See the full rules for the details.

How do I play a tile?

Drag a tile from your hand onto one of the glowing open ends, or click/tap a tile to select it and then click/tap an open end. Legal ends glow gold while you drag and turn green when you hover them. If you can't play, a Pass button appears (or press Space on desktop).

How is the game scored?

When a team goes out, it scores the total pips left in the opponents' hands. In a blocked round, the team holding the fewer total pips wins and scores the other team's count. The first team to reach 100 points wins the match. A full breakdown is on the rules page.

What is a "blocked" game?

A round is blocked when no player can make a legal move — for example, both open ends are six and every six is already on the table. The round ends immediately and the team with fewer remaining pips wins it.

What happens if both teams have the same pip count at a block?

The round scores nothing — no team gains points — and the next round begins.

The AI opponents

How strong is the AI?

There are four difficulty levels. Easy plays casual, often sub-optimal moves. Medium plays reasonable tile-matching strategy. Hard plays tight, counting-heavy dominoes. Expert uses Monte-Carlo simulation — it models thousands of possible unseen hands and picks the move that maximizes its chance of winning.

Does my AI partner play with me as a team?

Yes. Your partner reads and sends signals just like a human teammate: it returns your suits, feeds you when it can, and plays to block the opponents. The partner strategy is a core part of the game, not an afterthought.

Can I embed the game on my own website?

Yes, for free. Grab the copy-paste iframe code from the embed page. It works on WordPress, Wix, Blogger and plain HTML.

Is the game available in other languages?

Yes — English, Spanish (dominó por parejas) and French (dominos par équipes). The language is chosen automatically from your browser and can be changed with the flag buttons.
